Dinner at Kabab Village

is a restaurant in Fort Myers, FL serving Middle Eastern Cuisine.

One can dine inside

or out.

You can even settle in with a Hookah

and some Turkish coffee if you like.

My dining companion (DC) and I opted for the food. One of the owners has a sister restaurant in Tel Aviv, his food being exemplary of that served in Palestine.

An order of Pita Bread seasoned with Thyme and Sumac  was brought to the table

for the vegetarian deluxe plate DC ordered.

Hummus topped with walnuts and almonds, Baba Ghanoush topped with almonds and olives, Falafel, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Tabbouleh and Labna, a kind of Yogurt cheese. Everything on this plate was good and some of the best Middle Eastern food I have had.

I ordered the mixed grill kabab.

Pieces of grilled beef, chicken and Lamb Kufta, a lamb meatloaf grilled on a skewer, were served with cucumber and tomato salad and aromatic rice. Another really good dish.

DC finished up with something sweet, Halva.

This halva was Tahini-based and was mixed with walnuts and Pistachios. Deadly!

The food here was really good and for the most part prepared in-house. I would come back when in the mood for more Mediterranean food.

It's a wrap for another review on forks.
